 Hi my name is Zac and Mr Moore has challenged me to write a future letter to the future so here it is:

To 100 years in the future,

Hi to someone 100 years from now, we have wrote this so you can learn more about the time now. (2117) we have found one from 2017 and thought it would be fun to make one of own. We choose the items in this very carefully to show what our time is like.

Empathy

 Hi my name is Zac and we have been learning about empathy.

It is inportant to show empathy to people because insted of just saying that some onr else is wrondg you understand there pont of view and maybe it will change yours.

In our leson we learned about 3 characters Patrick, Jason and Phyllis. The story was patrick was that he was getting bullyed by his friend and he didn't want to tell on him becuse he was scared that he would lose his friend and he needs his friends because he isn't very smart.

If you are in an argument then iy is inportet to remeber the other pont of view and why they think the way that they do.

Where do your parents come from? 

WORKshops

 Hi my anme is Zac and this morning a bunch of classes went to some workshop set by some construction workshops. The first one we had to put some stars tht had diffrant things on them like signage and we had to p=ut them places on the work site that they had a picture of.

 Next we went to a game where you put little cards in order of how to build a house, my team lost. The third thing was a game where made pipe for sludge to go through and if you lasted long enaf then you moved on to the next level.

 Then we moved outside and to honk the horn of a digger and it was very loud! Then we got to see a truck and even dot to inside! The truck could spray water and suck up thing, it eve had a rc car attached with a camera.

 last we become architectures and desinded a town, it had things like lots of houses and some shops but most of all it had alot of KFC

Reading

Hi my name is Zac and in Reading room 8 has been reading about earthquakes. We have read about the earthquake in Christchurch and the one in Samoa in the books Canterbury quake and The hungry wave. They had similar death the one in Chistchurch had 185 and the one in Samoa had 175 deahs. In both storys the main character wasa kid who was affected by the earthquake and there town was destroyed.
