Cake In A Cup

Today was the day to make "Cake in a Cup"! Dad bought this box because there was no flour in the supermarket for ages.

It was supposed to take about 5 minutes (and it did).

Me and my sister got a cup and got the mix and followed the instructions on the packet. The instructions were:
You wash your hands for 20 seconds (very important right now especially!).
Then you pour the mix from the box into a cup. It was just brown powder.
Then I added some milk. We mixed it together.
Then we mixed in some marshmallows, which was optional.
We microwaved it for one minute.
Then we added a few marshmallows on top and it was done.
Basically, what it is, is chocolate brownie in a cup with marshmallows mixed in, but the marshmallows on top were a plus. It tasted like brownie with marshmallows.

I probably wouldn't do it again, because it's fun to do once but I don't think it would be as fun doing it a second time. My rating would be 8/10 because a 10/10 would be something I'd make again, it tasted good.

Here is a  video of us making it:

  1. Hi Zac, this sounds amazing though I would agree about adding marshmallows, sometimes it can feel like overdoing it. My kids have been making pikelets during the lockdown and they like adding chocolate melts to it, too sweet for me.
